Company "Yahoo" will offer unlimited mail storage space to the users of its mail services in May - which is the concept that seemed unrealizable only few years ago.
"Yahoo", with its 250m users all around the world, will make this move in order to try to get ahead of its rivals in the field of electronic mail services - "Microsoft" service "Hotmail" and "Google's" "G-mail".
"Hotmail" provides storage space of 2 GB to its users, while "G-mail" provides 2.8 GB. At the moment, "Yahoo" users have mail storage space of 1 GB and it will be gradually increased prior to May 2007 when the storage space limit will exist no more.
However, the months will pass until all users get unlimited storage space. The fourth largest provider of mail services "Time Warner" AOL provides unlimited storage space to its users for free since last summer.
