Belgrade-based electric power plants are ready for heating season

The head of Beogradske elektrane, Goran Aleksic, said for RTS they are ready for the upcoming heating season and that there is sufficient heavy oil.

- Citizens of Belgrade who are connected to the system can be clam when it comes to the upcoming heating season because Elektrane and the city of Belgrade as their founder did all they could to be at the highest level possible – Aleksic said at beogradska hronika at RTS.

Heating systems are in the final works stage and all the works will end in a few days. As Aleksic said, fuel was procured and there is enough heavy oil and there is also an option of new procurement.

Aleksic expects that there will be no heating price increase and reminded that as of October 1, functional system tests will start while the heating season starts October 15.
