Tobacco on more than 1,000 ha - BAT negotiates about this-year production

Immediately after the completion of the purchase of tobacco from the last-year crop, company "British American Tobbaco-Tobacco Industry Vranje" started negotiations about this-year production of raw tobacco.

Leading manager of the tobacco production in company BAT, Zoran Popović, said that that company had come to the agreement on tobacco production on total of 1,200 ha and that the crop of more than 2,000 tons was expected.

He added that BAT had started negotiations about new production of tobacco sorts "virginia", "berley” and oriental tobacco at the beginning of the year and, in that way, resumed successful cooperation with numerous collaborators in the country.
