Brewer "Pivara Laško" interested in BIP?

Unofficially, Brewer "Pivara Laško" has submitted the offer for purchase of the Belgrade Beer Industry (BIP), although the people from that company refused to give comment on the news, because the deadline for submittal of bids expires on March 30.

Allegedly, 14 companies submitted bids for BIP, among which is the partner of Slovenian "Mercator" – Brewer "Pivara MB".

According to the information, company "Laško" is more interested in the lot (location) of BIP industry than its activity (beer production), because the open competition implies relocation of the production units from “the elite location in the center of Belgrade".
