"Zastava Kovačnica" obtained new production equipment worth 1.1m EUR

The new production equipment, compressor station and production line for cold forging, worth about 1.1m EUR, have been put into operation in "Zastava Kovačnica" factory.

The celebration occasioned by putting into operation the new equipment that should result in the reduction of production expenses took place in the presence of one of the owners of Bulgarian company "Intertrust" that bought "Zastava Kovačnica", Valentin Zaharjev, the Ambassador of that country to Belgrade, Georgi Dimitrov, and the Assistant to Serbian Minister of Economy Milan Josifović.

- We had the obligation to realize this investment according to the sales contract – said Zaharjev and estimated that the investment would improve the competitiveness of the company.

He announced production growth from current 3,500 to 7,800 tons of castings on annual basis, as well as realization of social program for the surplus manpower.
