October to see South Stream construction start

The South Stream construction in Serbia will start in October, the Deputy GM for projects at Gazprom, Alexander Syromjatin has announced today at the conference on gas consumption in the Danube region.

By the end of September, Serbia will issue complete construction permits for the gas pipeline route in our country, he added.

Syromjatin outlined that the works on the South Stream will not be affected by the situation in Bulgaria where the gas pipeline construction was halted until it is aligned with EU regulations.
