Cleaning of Cukaricki rukavac starts – Tender for construction of marine at Ada Ciganlija in 2015

The works on the cleaning of Cukaricki rukavac started on Friday, September 12, 2014.

– We succeeded in providing funds regardless of financial situation in the city which is not the best one. The Fund for Environmental Protection provided funds and after public tender, JVP Beogradvode started with cleaning works. Our Secretariat for Environmental protection is working on permanent problem solving of Topciderska reka because it represents huge problem – the city manager, Goran Vesic, said and added there are two scenarios for this problem.

According to him, one scenario is that the entrance of the Topciderska reka to the Sava is relocated under the bridge, and the second one to completely develop the river in the environmental sense for which funds from certain funds are essential.

– I would prefer the second scenario. I can exclusively announce, and which is very important for us, it that next year in cooperation with PC Ada Ciganlija, we will release a tender for the construction of the first marine for which we already have a project. It will be a modern marine with all the facilities and we will search for a strategic partner for the project implementation. We think Belgrade deserves a real marine and that this is the right place for it. Thus, problem of this branch will be solved permanently – Vesic said for Beoinfo.
