In the next few months, Serbia will offer to international financial market state-owned bonds totaling USD 750 m, today’s Politika reports, quoting unofficial sources.

It was planned within the Law on budget and it will be included in the budget rebalance which the Ministry of Finance has been working on rapidly these days, the newspaper writes.

After the savings measures package proposal is finished, the Directorate for public debt will start preparations for the fifth Serbia’s launch at the international financial market.

It refers to bonds with a payment period of 10 years and the interest rates when it comes to these loans for the countries with a rating similar to ours, currently range five to 5,5%, Politika reports.

The newspaper reports that, although Serbia, after recently receiving a billion dollars from UAE, has sufficient funds to cover for the minus in the budget, those who are familiar with this topic think current moment at the market for cheaper loans should be used so that we would solve one part of deficit solving for the next year.
