Economy of Sremska Mitrovica revives – Italians are building wooden floors plant, Mitros plant to get buyers…New investors are slowly arriving to Sremska Mitrovica

After Mlekara has recently got news owner and after Lames started construction of car components plant, new investments have been announced.

As local newspaper, Sremske novine, reports, in the Sever industrial zone, an Italian plant will build a plant for production of wooden floors. Apart from that, a solution might pop up when it comes to famous Mitros, for which, allegedly, four investors are interested in.

The Mayor of Sremska Mitrovica, Branislav Nedimovic, said that a few days ago for "Sremske noviname" that, when it comes to Mitros, the problem is that 60% of facility was not registered in public books. The City formed a group of experts with the task to carry out registration in public books of all facilities within the plant by October 1.
