Belt becomes “a must” at the back seat as well

The Traffic Safety Committee has announced that seat belts fastening at the back seat are extremely important for traffic participation.

Upon the control of back seat belts fastening, the Committee pointed out that unfastened passenger at the back seat endangers his own life to the same extent as a passenger at the front seat or an unfastened driver.

But, an unfastened passenger at the back seat endangers a life of a person sitting in front of him where in frontal accident, an unfastened passenger at big speed, hits a person in front of him and causes difficult injuries, often with deadly outcome.

- We would like to point out to owners of vehicles that disassembling of back seat belts is an unauthorized vehicle fix and that a vehicle is then considered technically irregular- it was stated in the announcement and added that disassembling of belts and irregular vehicle in public traffic is penalized.
