September 10 to see Telenor's bank opening

Telenor bank, the first so-called mobile and online bank in the region will open on Wednesday, September 10, Telenor Serbia has announced.

Serbian Minister of Finance, Dusan Vujovic will open it and the President and GM of Telenor Group, Jon Fredrik Baksas, GM at Telenor Serbia, Uve Fredheim and President of the Executive Board of Telenor Bank, Martin Navratil , will address guests.

As Fredheim previously said for Novosti, the bank will offer new kind of service to citizens on Serbian market.
- The offer will comprise online mobile banking through the most modern devices and networks of ATMs where not only cash withdrawal will be possible but also cash deposit. All citizens will be able to use it regardless of the fact whether their phone is in Telenor network or some other. It is planned that a part of Telenor’s shop is used for providing banking services - Fredheim said for the newspaper.
