Gazprom Neft at the EU’s black list – Russians banned to collect capital at EU markets
The biggest Russian oil producers and oil pipeline operators, Rosneft, Transneft and Gazprom Neft, have today been listed at the EU “black list” of sanctioned Russian state-owned companies which are banned to collect and loan capital at EU markets, an anonymous European diplomat has announced today.
The source claims that the EU veto to loaning fund to Russian companies will refer to companies with a turnover of over a USD 26,95 billion, half of which originates from sales or oil transport, Reuters reports.
The Russian gas sector or the biggest gas producer, Russian Gazprom, was not hit by the EU sanctions.
The sanctions will, according to a diplomat’s words, become effective after publications at the EU Official Gazette which should be published at midnight.
