"Lor" to open factory for production of transporters in Bačka Topola

French company "Lor", the world leader in production of vehicles for transportation of passenger automobiles, will open the factory for production of transporters in Bačka Topola and export them to Russian market.

"Lor", which participates in the world production of vehicles for transportation of passenger automobiles with 70%, will employ 220 workers. The production in new company "Lor-srb" will start in the modernly equipped halls of former building company "Prvi maj" already at the beginning of May 2007. The capacity of the factory is 480 transporters a year, which is worth about 20m EUR.

The intention of that company is to develop cooperative network for needs of production of transporters for passenger automobiles, as well as to expand that production. "Lor", which also deals with the production of trams, plans to present its trams on the market in the Balkans.
