Chinese Sinohydro is interested in construction of roads and Stavalj thermal power plant construction

On Tuesday, September 2, 2014, the Vice President of the Government, Zorana Mihajlovic talked with the delegation of the Chinese Sinohydro about the options of cooperation on infrastructure projects which will be implemented in Serbia, it was announced at the site of the Ministry of construction, traffic and infrastructure.

At the meeting where the Chinese Ambassador in Serbia, Li Mnachnag, was also present, they also discussed the interest of the Chinese company of the road infrastructure project, such as Ostruznica-Bubanj potok and Bubanj Potok-Pancevo sections.

The Chinese company will also investigate the options of investing in the Stavalj project which implies construction of the new thermal power plant with 350 MgW with accompanying mine. It is one of the priority projects in the energy field.
