Copper pipes plant pays 13th salary – Majdanpek-based company exports almost 90% of production

The Minister of mining and energy, Aleksandar Antic, visited yesterday Majdanpek and "Fabrika bakarnih cevi (Cooper pipes plant) and said the firm is a true example of successful privatization.

He added he believes that with an aggressive policy of the Government, the Majdanpek region will go through a renaissance “because it is located at the finding worth dozens billion euros”.

He also talked to the company staff who communicated only positive comments.

For the local Radio-Television Bor, the minister reminded that 350-400 people work in the plant, depending on the season. He also said the company exports almost 90% of their production (some EUR 80m).

Antic discussed with the management the options for work conditions improvement.
