Putin sends gifts, Serbian MiGs put into operation again

As of September 1, all three planes, MiGs 29 as well as MiGs 21, will be available because accumulators for them which the Russian Federation donated arrived to Belgrade.

-We released the tender but the President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin, personally insisted on donation and it arrived to Belgrade- Serbian Prime Minister, Aleksandar Vucic, said.

As he explained, now it takes36 hours to prepare everything and the planes will be available to this country this time tomorrow.

- I am very thankful to the President Putin for this gift – Vucic said and added that now, thanks to the Russian donation, and when it comes to “police patrolling”, Serbia will, for the first time after a long period f time, have complete sovereignty in the Serbian sky.
