Serbian Prime Minister, Aleksandar Vucic, said last night he is satisfied with the conference on the West Balkans in Berlin and that some of the proposals were approved.
He said two very good meetings were held – plenary and later on a mutual working dinner of ministries of foreign affairs and economy of the region and that Serbia presented there five defined proposals.
As he said, the idea for greater freedom of flow of people, goods and services in the entire region was well accepted. We knew it was impossible at this moment to set up complete customs union and it is the task for the times to come – Vucic explains.
When it comes to infrastructure projects, as he said, they were fighting because every country fought for its projects just like Serbian delegation fought for its own country and our closes neighbors and for the things which can contribute to Serbia most.
- We were not selfish, we thought of everyone - he outlined.
Vucic is ensured that out of three projects he presented, at least one will be accepted which means that it will have big and wide consumption of EU institutions in funding. The Prime Minister said that he does not know which project will be selected and said that he showed the project map to Merkel and that he thinks she liked the project of the railroad to Montenegro but that she understood the importance of the Belgrade-Sarajevo project which would go through Zvornik, Tuzla and Doboj.
