World Bank approved non-interest credit in amount of 35m EUR to Bor for resolving of ecological problems

The World Bank has approved a non-interest credit in amount of 35m EUR to Municipality of Bor for the resolving of ecological problems and the aid for employment. The repayment period is 25 years and grace period is 10 years. This was announced by the coordinator of the Bor Transition Centre Dragan Ranđelović.

The funds have been approved on the basis of project "Regional Development of Bor". The plan is that 25m eUR be used for resolving of ecological problems caused by 100-year exploitation of Bor's mine, while the remaining 10m EUR will be invested in employment activities.
