The Trade Union President at Ulcinj-based Solana Bajo Sekulic, Marko Miranovic, said for Dnevne novine that the Government of Montenegro should soon tale over one of the Ulcinj-based oldest plants.

- The Government should pay all the remaining salaries as well as to pay the debt totaling some EUR 20.000 for the electricity Solana owns to Elektroprivreda. The remaining salaries payment is expected by the end of 2014. The Government will take Solana back and it will pay the plant owners everything they have invested in it so far – Miranovic said for Dnevne novine, not wanting to reveal how he got this information.

The Trade Union Presedent at Ulcinj-based Solana said the problem of the plant as well as of the employees should be solved immediately. Instead of holidays, the state officials should finally start dealing with the employees’ destiny.

- It is time to end our problems and that Solana finally starts operating normally – Miranovic explained.

Recently, the management in bankruptcy at Solana, has released 11th tender for the sale of company property at the initial price of EUR 179 mil.
