44m EUR approved for bypass around Belgrade

The managers of "Putevi Srbije" and "Energoprojekt-niskogradnja", Branko Jocić and Nikola Breka, have signed 10 contract annexes on the construction of a bypass around Belgrade, which provided about 44 million EUR for the continuation of works on sector 5 - from Dobanovci to Bubanj Potok.

- The funds were set aside from the National Investment Plan and they will be spent on the construction of left tunnel "Straževica", the overpass no. 25 and the regulation of the Rakovica brook - said Jocić and added that the works should be finished in 600 days and that they included the construction of 5.4 km of highway with the left tunnel 733 m long and the regulation of the brook.

Jocić pointed out that the works on the bypass around Belgrade had also been continued on the sector 4, that is, the section from Ostružnica to Orlovača, where "Lipak" tunnel 700 m long had already been drilled.

The Manager of "Enorgoprojekt-niskogradnja", Breka, stated that that company was able “in technical, personnel and organizational sense to finish the job in 600 days", just like the contract stipulates.
