The first foreign investor is coming to Mali Zvornik – Italian MBR Balkan is soon opening the plant for industrial pallets production

By the end of September, Italian MBR Balkan is planning to open production section for industrial pallets in Mali Zvornik. It will employ 20 people from that region.

President of the Mali Zvornik municipality, Dragan Bogicevic, has announced for the official municipal site (www.malizvornik.rs) that the arrival of the first foreign company in Mali Zvornik is of great importance and that it can be a motivator other foreign investors to invest in that undeveloped sub-Drina municipality.

According to him, the section will open in former Napredak’s company warehouse, in the industrial zone in Zeljici and the company will, apart from industrial pallets, produce other kinds of packages and packaging material for product transport to Italy.

At the moment, the works on the gas station construction and the hall maintenance where, on 1200 square meters production machines will be placed are in progress.

For the needs of the production hall construction, the Mali Zvornik municipality rented the company 45 ares of land in industrial zone and it is interested in other business opportunities with other potential investors as well.
