Russia and Turkey to make unique certification system


Russia and Turkey are planning to make a unique electronic certification
system for products which must undergo veterinary, and phitosanitary control, Interfax
reported.
The agreement was made during negotiations of the delegation of the Russian department
for veterinary and phitosanitary supervision, Rosselkhoznadzor, with the management of the General Directorate for food and control
of Turkey, which was held this week in Ankara.
It is a unique certification system of animal origin products. It is necessary to merge already existing systems in Rosselkhoznadzor and in Turkey which will monitor product flow in real time.
As a representative of Rosselkhoznadzor said for Interfax, the system will significantly increase safety of delivered products.
During the meeting in Ankara, Russia and Turkey signed a protocol on expansion of import of Turkish products to Russia, representative of Rosselkhoznadzor said for Itar tass.
Turkish party will deliver to the Russians a list of companies, all information on them and their products. These companies, tenths of them, will potentially be accepted as exporters for the Russian market. The Turkish party is aware of its opportunities at the Russian market, a collocutor of the agency said.
Russian party gave necessary terms for product quality monitoring, essential tests and analysis which inspections should carry out in these companies.
After the procedures end and the Russian party checks the companies, they will be listed at the registry of the companies which can export goods at the territory of the Russian and Customs union.
It refers to deliveries of products which have not been imported to Russia from Turkey before. It is an entire product line of dairy products, honey and bee products as well as non-edible products of animals such as leather and wool, the source of Itar tass said.
