PETROHEMIJA: We have what to offer to partners

Management of HIP Petrohemija from Pancevo supported inFriday the efforts of the Government of Serbia to deal with the restructuring companiesand said that Petrohemija has a lot to offer to strategic partners since itgenerates more than 60% of their profit from export.

- We have a lot to offer since that investing in Petrohemija essentialopportunities for profitability improvement are created through implementationof investment plans which imply construction of the new polypropylene plant,new products, PEVG plant capacity increase as well energy efficiency increasein Etilen and Energetika plants- the company reps say for Tanjug and upon thepublic call of the Agency for Privatization for the sale of 502 companies. Thiscompany is among them.

We think that finding strategic partner is especially important for the companieswhich have future and which, as Petrohemija, have quality product, developedexport and prepared consolidation plan which undoubtedly shows that the businesson sustainable principles is real, Pancevo-based company reps pointed out.

As the biggest producer of petrochemical products in the country and the onlyone in the region, Petrohemija is also one of the most important exporters andin 2013 it exported products totaling EUR 233 mil which made 2,12% of total export of Serbia.

We generate more than 60% of our profit by exporting to neighboring countriesand EU countries which confirms the fact that our products have high qualityand that there is a demand for sure for them at foreign markets, Petrohemija representativessaid.
