Flooded town appears from the lake

The Mologa city in the Jaroslava region which completely sank during the Rubinsk hydro power plant construction in 1940s emerged due to water level decrease, RIA Novosti reports.
Since the foundations of houses and streets appeared, participants of the
annual meeting of ex residents of Mologa are planning to visit their hometown
together with their heirs.
Mologa, the city at the confluence of the Mologa and the Volga is 32 km far from Rubinsk and 120 km far from Jaroslavlje, would celebrate its 865th anniversary this year.
The decision to build a hydro power plant in Rubinsk and Uglih was made September 14, 1935 and the consequence is complete town sinking.
