Zagorka Panic, city secretary for inspection affairs said at Studio B that soon they will start demolishing all illegally built facilities which city inspection signd in the previous period.
– In June, we started with listing all active construction sites at the
territories of ten central city municipalities while the rest will be listed in
the next stage. It is the first time that city authorities decided to list all
construction sites, to check the illegal construction, to see how many are
legal and with construction permit. During the action where all city, republic and
municipal inspectors participated, it was defined that at the territory of 10
cit municipalities there are 754 active construction sites. Out of that number,
302 sites are responsibility of the city inspection. An investor was not
defined on 84 sites, there is no technical documentation or a plan. The Delegation had a meeting with Public
prosecution where we agreed that cooperation between a town, a prosecution and the
ministry of internal affairs should be faster and better so that we could as
soon as possible define who the investors are. I will repeat that the
construction without a construction permit is a criminal act and for facilities
which underwent the process until the end will a legal decision will be made
and they will be demolished –Zagorka
Panic said, pointing out that there is a need that municipal inspectors go to
the field more often to prevent illeal building at the beginning.
She pointed out that the next stage is up to the Secretariat for Urbanism which should check the status of all 754 construction site sand addresses municipalities the instructions to act in line with the law, Beoinfo reports.
City secretary for inspection affairs pointed out that all other activities will
continue as well.
– In most of the cases, the activities refer to removal of illegal shops from markets
in cooperation with the communal police, control of improper car parking on
green areas and other. To keep the order in the long run, it is necessary to
have more often municipal inspection controls - Zagorka Panic said, pointing
out the citizens to stick to communal order.
