"Dunav osiguranje" obtained license for management of pension fund

Company "Dunav osiguranje" has founded Dunav Company for Management of Voluntary Pension Fund, "with which it turns to the non-traditional kinds of insurance", said the General Manager of the company Mirko Petrović.

He said that "Dunav osiguranje" did that for the sake of keeping leading position on the market. Petrović reminded that, on March 8, 2007, the National Bank of Serbia had issued the permit for work, organization and management of voluntary pension fund to Dunav Company for Management of Voluntary Pension Fund, of which only stockholder was "Dunav osiguranje".

He pointed out that nearly 60% of users of voluntary pension insurance policies in 2006 in Serbia had been the members of the Dunav Fund and he expressed his belief that "Dunav osiguranje" would keep, even enlarge, its share on the market.

Petrović announced that, by the end of 2007, if the regulations in BiH change, "Dunav osiguranje" would come out with the pension fund on that market as well.
