Cacanska banka reports stable business operations in 1H

Cacanska Banka reported that in 1H it recorded positive business result despite the income fall I the main business segment. Net interest income were lower for 4,8% totaling RSD 909 mil while this segment profit increased by 3% to RSD 535,3 mil. Compensation income fell by 6,6% to RSD 291,1 mil, while this business segment profit totaled RSD 253,6 mil(-8,4%). In 1H 2014 pre-tax profit of RSD 9.7m, down 32.1% y/y on lower revenues from core business and higher costs of write-offs.

In 1H, lending activity of Cacanka banka increased by 5,7% to RSD 22,5 billion while assets lowered by 4,4% so far this year and titalled RSD 32, 3 billion in the end of June.
