Metal objects which can go to a microwave after all

In case you accidentally forget a spoon in a microwave, do not worry, you will probably survive. Still, a fork is a different matter and you must not leave it in a plate when warming up your food.

HuffPost Science reports that actually microwave reaction depends on a type but also of a form of metal. While spoons are practically ok, forks start sparking and create negative electricity in the top of fork. Depending on other objects in a microware, fire can break out.

Even when there is no fire, sparks fie can damage oven interior and make it dangerous for further usage. Still, it is not recommendable to put metal in a microwave in order to check what will happen.
