They loan EUR 700 mil - 11.000 companies submit request for subsidized loans

The companies show great interest for the loans the government subsidizes so the banks are crowded with requests.

The unofficial information show that in the previous two months, more than 11.000 companies submitted requests of EUR 700 mil. However, in this year, EUR 60 mil has been set aside for loans and the banks will approve requests totaling EUR 1, 2 billion of favorable loans.

Entrepreneurs to get loans as well

The regulations of the Republic of Serbia implies that entrepreneurs and micro companies can get up to RSD 10 mil, small companies RSD up to 100 mil, mid-sized ones up to RSD 400 mil and big companies up to RSD 500 mil.

The Regulation says that it is not necessary to set aside funds in the budget of Serbia for 2014 for subsidized interest rates while RSD 3 billion will be set aside from the budget for 2016 and RSD 3, 9 billion in 2016.
