Serbian-Dutch Consortium of companies "Telekom Srbija" and "Ogalar" obtained license for third mobile operator in Montenegro

Montenegrin Telecommunication Agency has announced the allotment of the third mobile operator license to the consortium of “Telekom Srbija” and Dutch company "Ogalar", which is connected to "Delta", the company owned by Serbian businessman Miroslav Mišković.

“Telekom Srbija” and “Ogalar” will pay 16m EUR for the license, which will be given to them within the next few days. Serbian-Dutch consortium was the only one to answer the tender for the third mobile operator license in Montenegro and offered to invest 90 million EUR in the next 7 years.

It is expected that the third operator will start to work in September 2007. Telecommunication experts claim that “Telekom Srbija” is the most capable to gaom profit from the mobile telephony in Montenegro since it will easy take over the market due to close private and business connections between the citizens of Serbia and Montenegro.
