Belmil Team expands Ada-based section – 30 new hires

As of August 15, Ada-based Belmil Team is starting works on the leather products and bags business facility expansion in Ada.

As Marija Tot from Belmil said for eKapija, the area will expand for 600 square meters where 30 new workers will be hired and the investment totals EUR 300.00.

- Some 90% of our production is export- oriented, primarily to Russia, countries in the region and EU. Since the scope of work increased, it was essential to expand our capacities and hire new staff. As it was announced at the company site, BKG was set up in 1965 as a family workshop for leather products production. Today, the company comprises two parts and both companies deal with production of bags. BKG produces mainly sports and other backpacks while Belmil Team produces school bags. Apart from that smaller production portion I directed towards production of lap top bags and promotional bags.

At the moment, together with warehouses in Ada, the company occupies more than 3.000 m2 and employs more than 100 people.
