In the Rudo municipality, in the east of the Republic of Serbia, a new hotel Comsar Rudo which is competitive in facilities and service to the hotels in Zlatibor and Tara was opened.
The investment is coming from the Russian, Rashid Serdarov, the owner of Comsar
Group, which invests a total of EUR 100 mil in this area in the hydro power
plant Mrsovo at the Lim river. The works will begin in the next few months.
However, the investor investor invests in the future thermal power plant
Ugljevik 3 in Ugljevik and it is estimated that the investments will total EUR
1,3 billion.
In the beginning it was designed as the support to the works on hydro electric
power plant, but it underwent reconstruction which lasted for more than a year
and became a world to it. It has four stars and occupies 2.500 m2 with 64 beds
in 29 accommodation units. It has a restaurant, a café bar, a spa center,
Turkish bath and a gym.
The target group is business people who would attend seminars, congresses, etc.
Apart from them, it would also welcome tourists who visit nearby Andricgrad and
who want a comfortable hotel stay.
The General Manager of the hotel, Aleksandar
Aleksic, says that they expect full capacity when the works on the hydro power plant
Mrsovo start because then it will host engineers, consultants and others
participating in the project.
- Since it is located in a small municipality, at the crossroad of three
countries, this is the hotel which promotes destination – the hotel management
says.
