Belgrade’s Fair attractive to four world companies – Austrian "Reedexhibitions", Italian "Rimini Fiera SpA" and two international investment funds

General Manager of the Belgrade Fair, Anđelko Trpković, stated that four companies had showed their interest in the privatization of that company for organization of fairs and he expressed his expectation that that process would be finished by the end of 2007.

He said that the letters of intent had been sent by companies "Reedexhibitions" from Austria, "Rimini Fiera" from Italy and two investments funds and that they would have the advantage in the privatization process, because they could participate in the defining of the tender procedure.

Trpković reminded that, few days before, the tender had been announced for the selection of the privatization councilor for the Belgrade Fair, which should prepare the documentation, and he pointed out that that job should be completed in the following few months.

The Manager of the Belgrade Fair expressed his belief that, in cooperation with the councilor, the privatization model would be found, according to which the State would remain partial owner of the Fair, because it was in the interest of the promotion of domestic economy
