The Serbian Parliament adopted the amendments to the Law on Bankruptcy, which aims to increase transparency and prevent abuse of the automatic bankruptcy, increasing the rights of creditors who have had a secondary role in this process.
Faster and more transparent process should lead to an increase in the degree of creditors settlement in bankruptcy procedures.
Amendments to the law provide the conditions for the improvement of the business environment, efficient bankruptcy proceedings and the prevention of abuse and corruption in the process.
Amendments to the Law of registration procedure have been adopted as well, in the Serbian Business Registers Agency.
