'Nokia' to take over 'Panasonic' network infrastructure sector
The Japanese electronics and semiconductor circuits manufacturer "Panasonic" released its latest quarterly business results. In them it shows a profit growth of 18.1%, which was higher than expected.
The result is an increase in demand for the company's products in the automotive industry, as well as in their home appliances. Collaboration with "Tesla Motors" has been announced on the construction of a factory of lithium-ion batteries, which the two companies are jointly going to launched in the United States.
At the same time with the announcement of the positive news, Finland "Nokia" is coming out with information about the acquisition. "Nokia" will, in fact, take from the "Panasonic" their sector for the production of network infrastructure, in order to strengthen its position in the Japanese market. In this way, "Nokia" will expand its global impact in the market of networking and wireless equipment and base stations, which had been announced as the backbone of the business strategy after the sale of the mobile phones sector to "Microsoft". The acquisition should be carried out early next year, and the financial details were not disclosed.
