Gas price raised for around 1% starting from August 1st

Gas for the households and businesses in Serbia will be increased from 1 August between 1.1 and 1.4%, so that the new rate will be an average of 42.3 dinars per cubic meter, excluding VAT.
According to the Energy Agency of Serbia, a new gas price for households will be 45.4 dinars (without VAT) so that the average annual bill will be about 44,000 dinars (including VAT).
Energy Agency Council gave approval for the new price of natural gas for public supply to all 33 public gas supplier.
Regulated gas price changes when there is a change of purchase price and the relationship of domestic and imported gas and is adjusted with changes in the average fifteen-dollar exchange rate.
The last change in gas prices in Serbia was on December 1, 2013 when gas became cheaper on average between 2.7 and 3.5%, amounting to 41.8 dinars per cubic meter.
