'RAPP Zastava', company from Kragujevac, in the property of Norwegians, is an example of successful privatization in Serbia, as it was published on the Norwegian Embassy's website in Serbia.
According to the announcement, that privatization is a proof that the state company can be made into a successful exporter.
RAPP Zastava has moved to another plant in Gruza, which was bought last year from Kragujevac company '21.oktobar', that spreads on around 10.000 sqm, with plants, equipment and 4 hectares of land.

With this investment, worth 5,2 million EUR, we are creating necessary conditions for implementation of all plans of production and market development for 'RAPP Marine Group', the mother company of 'RAPP Zastava', stated CEO 'RAPP Zastava', Slobodan Milovanovic.
He added that the production capacity, which should be started in the new plant in September, will reach the amount of around 5 million EUR in this year.
According to the Norwegian Embassy, the privatization of 'RAPP Zastava' is one of the most successful privatizations in Serbia.
'RAPP Zastava' is in the ownership of a Norwegian company 'RAPP Marine Group' which has been present in Kragujevac since 2006 when it bought 'Zastava machines' from 'Zastava holding'.
