Money for Golubac Fortress and Silver Lake arrived - Serbia received 11 mil EUR for tourism development from EU funds

Although this year's budget does not include funds for tourism development projects, there are still going to be some, as it was announced by the Secretary of State in the Ministry of Tourism and Telecommunications, Lukrecija Djeri.
According to her words, they have recently signed contractrs with the Austrian Development Agency (ADA) for the reconstruction of the Golubac fortress and construction of water supply system at Silver Lake.
- The contract worth 6.6 million euros, for complete reconstruction of the Golubac fortress, was signed on 21 July - said Djeri for Tanjug.
On the same day, another contract was signed with ADA, for the construction of water supply system at Silver Lake in Veliko Gradiste, worth 4.4 million euros. And this work will also be financed from the EU funds.
- With relocation of the main road that runs through the Golubac fortress and construction of an entirely new infrastructure, the fortress will become an attractive tourist destination with catering facilities and space for various exhibitions and museum events - reminded Djeri.
