AIK Bank profit larger by 2% in the first six months

Nis based AIK bank, after a poor first quarter of this year, announced solid second quarter that brought the gross profit in the first six months of 1.04 billion dinars which is 2.1% more than in the same period of 2013.
The declining trend in interest income continued in the second quarter, and the half-year revenues from this segment weakened 9% to 5.3 billion dinars. In line with changing business policies, fee and commission income recorded a more intensive growth trend, and in the first six months reached 428.6 million dinars (+16.4%). In the second quarter were absent new write-offs and provisions and this expense in the first half of the year fell 4% to 1,5 billion RSD.
AIK bank assets at the end of June stood at 152.3 billion dinars, which is a slight decline from the beginning of the year, says "WiseBroker".
