Croatian "Nexe group" invests about 40m EUR in its three companies


The Head of the Administrative Board of Nexe Group, Ivan Ergović, said that 7.5m EUR would be invested in the company for production of limestone and stone "Jelen Do". That money will be spent on building of new lime furnace whose capacity will be 350 tons a day.
The investment in amount of 10.3m EUR is planned for the Industry of Building Materials "Stražilovo" from Sremski Karlovci, which will be used for
reconstruction of the unit for production of tiles, while the plan is that about 20m EUR be invested in the company for production of tiles, brick and ceramic tiles "Polet" from Bečej for the new unit for production of tiles.
- Last year, "Nexe" group had total income in amount of 40.3m EUR and the profit of about 7m EUR in Serbia - said Ergović and reminded that that company had invested 52m EUR in Serbia since 2003.

Savanović, said that the growth of production of lime and stone by 8% was planned in 2007, adding that, in year 2006, total income of that company had amounted to 10.6m EUR, which was 37% more than in 2005, while the net profit amounted to more than 960,000 EUR.
In 2007, the investment in total amount of about 975,000 EUR in the pipeline for broadening of exploitation field on both quarries, connection to the water supply system Rzav and rehabilitation of the machines.
