Serbian National Airline "Air Serbia" reported its suspension on flights to Israel, Tel Aviv, citing the ongoing crisis in Gaza Strip.

- "Air Serbia" banned flights from to Tel Aviv’s "Ben Gurion" International Airport, for at least 24 hours. This decision was made for the security of passengers and crew amid the unstable situation. "Air Serbia" continues to follow the situation and inform passengers about the latest news – reports the airline.

Initially, European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) "strongly recommended" the airline companies to cancel flights to Tel Aviv.

Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) suspended all flights to and from Israel after a rocket fired from Gaza struck near its main international airport in Tel Aviv.

As American Federal Agency stated, the ban refers only to American airline companies and new instructions will be updated "as soon as conditions allow it", reports AFP.

Flights to Tel Aviv were suspended by German "Lufthansa" and French "Air France", as well.
