Aleksandra Damnjanović-Petrović, Republic of Serbia, Ministry of Capital Investment

Aleksandra Damnjanović Petrović was born on June 19.1961. She graduated from the Faculty of Law, Belgrade University in 1985. She passed juridical exam in 1986. In the period 1985-1987 she was a trainee attorney at law. In the period 1987-2004 she was an advisor to the Municipality of Savski Venac, where she has been working as a Head of Department for Construcuon, Residential and Property Law since 1997.

Since 2004 she has been engaged in the Ministry of Capital Investment as Assistant Minister for Construction and Investment Projects. She is a memher of the Examination Commission for Urban and Spatial Planning at the Serbian Chamber of Engineers. She is a Deputy President of the Commission for Licensing Construction Companies. Aleksandra participated as a lecturer in a program for implementation of the Law on Local Self-Government. She has published numerous scientific papers on construction, housing and expropriation. Aleksandra is also a supervisor of the Government's project for helping flood affected areas and a coordinator of the project for helping areas affected by landslides. She is a member of the National Investment Plan Council for High-Rise Building.
