By the end of the year, Beocin will get another industrial zone – Grains silos construction announced as well

Beocin business park is an excellent example of a successful public-private partnership of Lafarge and municipality. So far, a total of EUR 15 mil has been invested in the park where four investors operate.

The arrival of investors significantly decrease the unemployed number, representatives the local self-governance say and announce that theopening of another park with Lafarge’s support is even closer.

- Last year, we received from USAID some USD 70.000 for designing new industrial zone. Designing has finished, we got a construction permit and now we are asking for funds for equipping. The Fund for capital investments as well as the Ministry of Traffic, where we had a meeting ten days ago, promised us. I think that by the end of the year we will succeed in equipping the first part of the building, i.e. to finish the first stage of the project – the municipal president, Bogdan Cvejic, says.

Grain purchase silos, the biggest in this part of the Danube coast will be built in the new industrial zone.
