Ferrero conquers world hazelnut market – The Italians bought Turkish giant, Oltan Group

Ferrero Group strengthens its hazelnut market position in order to provide even better quality of its products.

The company took over a 100% -share in Oltan Group. The Turkish company is among the leading hazelnut processors and with an annual turnover which exceeds USD 500 mil, poslovni.hr portal reports, stating the Ferrero’s announcement.

Headquartered in Trabzon in Turkey, Oltan Group is active all around the hazelnut growing regions and has five sections wherefrom it exports to EU and to other markets worldwide.

The acquisition agreement is now waiting for the final approval of the authorities.
