Is Croatian Adris to buy Sava Re?

Croatian Adris Grupa which bought Croatia Osiguranje a few months ago, continues buying shares at Pozavarovalnice Sava (Sava Re), according to the unofficial sources of Slovenian Finance. Apart from Zavarovalnice Maribor and Tilije Sava Re, the company owns Sava osiguranje, Sava osiguruvanje, Sava Montenegro and Velebit osiguranje in the countries in the region.

Adris i.e. Croatia Osiguranje, has never been hiding ambitions to become the biggest insurance company in the region Sava Re and Zavarovalnica Triglav. Croatia Osiguranje i.e. Adris allegedly owns some 15% at Save Re and in their last purcahase, according to our sources,, they acquired a stake of 0,13% at Save Re for which they set aside EUR 300.000 through Zagreb-based Intercapital.
