Successful cooperation of Russian railways and Energoprojekt Niskogradnja

Energoprojekt Niskogradnja is the first Serbian company which won the tender for ground works and construction of small facilities which the Russian Railways (RŽD International) carries out, the Russian company announced yesterday.

The works are carried out within the Contract for the construction of railway infrastructure facilities and diesel motor trains deliver to the Republic of Serbia.

Signing of the agreement practically presented the beginning of works at the Belgrade-Pancevo part which is the first segment of the contract.

Despite the complex intergovernmental funding mechanism, parties mutually worked on shortening due dates for advanced payments. After two months since the works begun, producer announced that the scope of works was exceeded which were implied with the state and the amount and started the next construction stage, it was stated in the announcement delivered to Tanjug.

Thanks to fast problem-solving, the company provided strict sticking to the plan regardless of the catastrophic floods in May.

Energoprojekt Niskogradnja has had more than 60 years of experience in construction project in different climate and geological conditions in 50 countries worldwide.

In line with the agreement with RZD International, in two years, the company should carry out the works such as construction of ground construction, three small bridges and one viaduct, five pipelines for water, Krnjaca railway station, Ovca, Pancevo, the main and halt points Krnjaca Bridge and Sebez, industrial (technical) facilities at the stations Pancevo Glavna and Krnjaca.
