Austrians to buy "Autoprevoz" from Čačak?

One of the largest transportation companies in Serbia, Čačak-based "Autoprevoz", will be offered for auction sale on March 8, 2007.

Total of 70% of public assets of company, estimated to 16.89m EUR, will be offered for sale at the starting price of 4.05m EUR. The future owner will have to invest at least 1.3m EUR in the company from Čačak.

"Autoprevoz" employs 514 workers and owns 101 buses, 15 trucks, bus stations in Čačak, Lučani, Mrčajevci and Guča, technical workshop in Konjevići, auto-base in Aranđelovac, office space in Belgrade and Zagreb and holiday hostel in Petrovac na Moru.

According to the unofficial information, certain company from Vienna, the owner of which has some connections in Serbia and is often in Čačak, is interested in the procurement of Čačak-based company.
