In two or three weeks, Laiki bank will offer mortgage loans for unregistered apartments to the citizens.

For the procurement of the new buildings, which have the use permits, this bank will be offering loans and the prices of these apartments, insured with the National Corporation, will not by much different from the regular ones.

According to the Assistant to the Head of the Executive Board of the bank, Vladan Manić, the citizens will not have any problems with the ownership over the real estate after the experts of this bank check the documentation.

The bank, instead of National Corporation for Insurance of Credit, takes the entire risk from non-repayment of the loan.

Laiki bank came to Serbia in January 2006, when it took over Centro bank, and immediatelly increased capital by 10m EUR. This year, the capital will be increased by another 30m EUR. At the same time, the bank will withdraw the credit line from Cyprus in amount of 68m EUR, so that about 100m EUR will be available for the loans.
