Gasification of Skoplje with the support of PPP - Turkish Axo energie and Italian CPL Concordia interested in contract

Turkish Axo energie and Italian CPL Concordia are the only companies which fulfilled the criteria defied in the tender for gasification of Skoplje.
The project for gasification implies PPP with the state in funding, design, construction,
management, maintenance and development of distribution system for natural gas transmission
in Skoplje region, 24vesti.mk.portal reports.
Axo energie is the biggest private natural gas producer in Turkey with more than half a million consumers. The company is also a distributor and electricity producer.
CPL Concordia is a multinational group with 1.600 workers and some 80 companies
and branch offices. It distributes 45 million of cube meters of natural and
fluid gas per year to 135 towns and municipalities, i.e. it has 185.000 consumers.
It is expected that the selection of contractor will end in September. The
company which wins the tender should build 250 km of primary and secondary
distribution network for natural gas and to invest in installation of connections
to all end consumers.
