Serbian Deputy Prime Minister Zorana Mihajlovic announced today that a set of very important reform laws that should attract new investors and allow for faster implementation of projects should be forwarded to Serbian lawmakers this summer.

One of very significant laws is the Law on Planning and Development that should enable prospective investors to get permits in a regular and quick way, Mihajlovic said in the Serbian Chamber of Commerce.

Mihajlovic, who is also the minister of construction, transportation and infrastructure, specified that the aim was to make it possible for them to obtain permits in maximum 28 days.
As she added, aforementioned law should also resolve the issue of land conversion and the rights of use. She also voiced her expectation that this law and all its bylaws would be put into effect by the year's end.

The next on the list of reform laws is the Labor Law which aims to increase the fluctuation of people and enable the employment of as many competent and experienced people as possible, Mihajlovic pointed out.
